In this present work, the effect of lanthanum oxides (La2O3) on the thermal cycle behavior of TBC coatings and mechanical properties such as adhesion strength and microhardness of 8% Yttria Stabilized Zirconia (8YSZ) TBCs were investigated. CoNiCrAlY and aluminium alloy (Al–13%Si) were used as bond coat and substrate materials. 8YSZ and different wt % of La2O3 (10, 20, and 30%) top coatings were applied using the atmospheric plasma spray (APS) method. The thermal cycling test for TBC coated samples were conducted at 800 °C in the electric furnace. The XRD pattern shows that the La2O3 doped 8YSZ material transformed to cubic pyrochloric structured La2Zr2O7 during thermal cycling. Further, the Taguchi-based grey relation analysis (GRA) method was applied to optimize the TBC coating parameters to achieve better mechanical properties such as adhesion strength and microhardness. And the optimized La2O3/8YSZ TBC coating was coated on CRDI engine combustion chamber components. The engine was tested with microalgae biodiesel and hydrogen, and the results were promising for the TBC-coated engine. The engine performance increased while using La2O3/8YSZ coated components, and the emissions from engine exhaust gas such as CO, HC, and smoke reduced considerably. It was found that there was no separation crack and spallation of the coating layer in the microstructure. Ultimately, the microstructural analysis of the optimized TBC coated piston sample after 50 h of running in the diesel engine confirmed that the developed coating had a superior thermal insulation effect and longer life. 相似文献

The outstanding physical properties make TM5Si4 silicides become the potential silicon-based transition-metal ultrahigh-temperature materials. In present work, we adopt the first-principles scheme to explore the structural stability, mechanical properties and explain the hydrogenated mechanism of Ti5Si4, Zr5Si4 and Hf5Si4 using the electronic structures. And the investigation increases the theoretical support for the developments and applications of TM5Si4 silicides. Three hydrogenated models have shown that the hydrogen displays the stability for hydrogenated TM5Si4 compounds. Furthermore, the introduction of hydrogen occupation has weakened the elastic properties of TM5Si4. The metallic property of TM5Si4 and three hydrogenated models was confirmed by the electronic structures. This study investigated the effects of l -lysine (Lys) and l -histidine (His) on the oxidative characteristics and gel properties of porcine myofibrillar proteins (MP). Results showed that Lys and His had a strong ferrous ion-chelating ability and hydroxyl radical-scavenging activity. Moreover, Lys and His inhibited the protein carbonyl formation and MP aggregation at 0.2 M and 0.6 M NaCl, respectively, in a dose-dependent manner. Furthermore, 2 and 4 mg mL−1 Lys and His decreased the oxidation-induced loss of the tertiary structure of MP accompanied by the lower surface hydrophobicity. The water-holding capacity and gel strength of MP gels increased with increasing Lys and His concentrations due to more regular and lamellar structures with smaller and homogeneous pores at 0.6 M NaCl and more orderly crosslinking via fibrous filament at 0.2 M NaCl. In summary, Lys and His chelated the ferrous ions and scavenged hydroxyl radicals, decreased the oxidation-induced physicochemical changes, thus preventing oxidative damage during the formation of a three-dimensional gel network, which resulted in better gel quality. 相似文献

This study determined the anthocyanin profile of pigmented flower extracts from some Geraniaceae and Lamiaceae plant species found in South Africa, and their thermal and oxidative stability to assess their potential food application. Anthocyanins in the Geraniaceae (Pelargonium grandiflorum Willd. and Pelargonium × hortorum L.H. Bailey, Pelargonium zonale hybrid) were 3,5-diglucosides of delphinidin, petunidin, pelargonidin, peonidin and malvidin and acetyl-acylated malvidin, delphinidin and petunidin. The Lamiaceae species (Salvia aurea × dolomitica Bae’s blue, Salvia dolomitica Codd and Plectranthus zuluensis T. Cooke) mainly contained rutinosides of pelargonidin, glucosides of petunidin, pelargonidin and p-coumaric acid- and malonyl-acylated delphinidin and malvidin. Lamiaceae pigments had higher thermal and oxidative stability. This could be due to aromatic malonyl-acylated anthocyanin self-association and strong intermolecular interactions with phenolic acids and derivatives. Flowers from Lamiaceae and Geraniaceae have potential application as natural food colourants, but temperature and oxidising conditions must be considered depending on the particular species being used. 相似文献

The present work was conducted to illustrate the mechanism of gel formation of myofibrillar proteins (MPs) under different microwave heating times. The results showed that the denaturation enthalpy (ΔH) of the MPs significantly decreased when the heating time increased from 3 to 9 s and then completely disappeared as the heating time progressed, indicating that the MPs gradually denatured and subsequently aggregated with increasing heating time, which was further verified by the changes in the secondary structure, electrophoretic bands, and gel properties (e.g., water holding capacity and textural profiles) of the MPs. Microstructural images indicated that the MP gel formed under 12 s had the most compact network, indicating that extended microwave heating time could induce quality deterioration of MP gels. Moreover, the hydrophobic forces, electrostatic forces, and disulphide bonds of the MPs gradually intensified with increasing microwave heating time, suggesting that both non-covalent and covalent bonds could promote molecular denaturation and subsequent aggregation of MPs. In addition, correlation analysis revealed that the changes in the molecular conformation of MPs induced by different microwave heating times could effectively regulate the formation of MP gels and their related properties. 相似文献

In this work different lead-free multilayered structures, composed of perovskite BaTiO3 and spinel NiFe2O4 thin layers, were obtained by solution deposition method. Structural characterization of the sintered thin films confirmed the well-defined layered structure with overall thickness from 160 to 600 nm, crystalline nature of perovskite BaTiO3 and spinel NiFe2O4 phases without secondary phases (after sintering below 900 °C) and grains on nanometer scale. Dielectric properties of the multiferroic multilayer BaTiO3/NiFe2O4 thin films were analyzed in temperature and frequency range from 30 °C to 200 °C and 100 Hz to 1 MHz, respectively. In comparison to the pure BaTiO3 films, the introduction of ferrite layer reduces dielectric response and increases low frequency permittivity dispersion of the multilayer thin films. The multilayer samples have shown relatively low dielectric loss with stronger contribution of conductivity at higher temperatures, and characteristic broad peak representing “relaxation” of the interface charge accumulation. 相似文献

The heat-resistance of the Cansas-II SiC/CVI-SiC mini-composites with a PyC and BN interface was studied in detail. The interfacial shear strength of the SiC/PyC/SiC mini-composites decreased from 15 MPa to 3 MPa after the heat treatment at 1500 °C for 50 h, while that of the SiC/BN/SiC mini-composites decreased from 248 MPa to 1 MPa, which could be mainly attributed to the improvement of the crystallization degree of the interface and the decomposition of the matrix. Aside from the above reasons, the larger declined fraction of the interfacial shear strength of the SiC/BN/SiC mini-composites might also be related to the gaps in the BN interface induced by the volatilization of B2O3·SiO2 phase, leading to a significant larger declined fraction of the tensile strength of the SiC/BN/SiC mini-composites due to the obvious expansion of the critical flaws on the fiber surface. Therefore, compared with the CVI BN interface, the CVI PyC interface has better heat-resistance at high temperatures up to 1500 °C due to the fewer impurities in PyC. 相似文献

目的 为了提高糯米淀粉的粘度,以达到标签胶的要求。方法 对糯米淀粉进行丁二酸酐酯化改性,通过单因素试验及响应面优化确定出最佳酯化条件,测定其理化性质,并对其进行结构表征。结果 丁二酸酐酯化改性糯米淀粉的最优工艺条件:丁二酸酐添加量(丁二酸酐占淀粉干基的质量百分比)为10.3%,酯化温度为41.5℃,酯化时间为2.0 h,pH为9.0,在此条件下制得的糯米淀粉胶的粘度较高,可达到61.6 Pa·s,且溶解性与溶胀度均有不同程度的提高。电镜与热力学性质分析表明,酯化后淀粉颗粒结晶结构受到破坏,表面粗糙,出现凹陷与裂缝。结论 经过丁二酸酐酯化后,糯米淀粉胶的粘度得到提高。 相似文献

The heat production and thermal storage characteristics of rapid-preparation amorphous powder activated coke (RAC) were investigated. RAC was prepared by using a drop-tube reactor system. The natural oxidation characteristics of RAC were studied through combined TG–FTIR analysis and temperature-programmed experiment. Experimental results showed that CO and CO2 were the main oxidation products of RAC in air, and that the oxidation reaction was in accordance with the Arrhenius equation and law of mass action. Thermal storage characteristics were studied through computational fluid dynamics simulation. The maximum excess temperature θmax increases linearly with the increase of the initial temperature. The concentration fields of the products show that CO2 is mainly concentrated in the upper part of the coke bin, and the CO generated by CO2 at high temperature is mainly concentrated in the central part of the coke bin. 相似文献

We investigate synthesis, phase evolution, hollow and porous structure and magnetic properties of quasi-amorphous intermediate phase (QUAIPH) and hematite (α-Fe2O3) nanostructure synthesized by annealing of akaganeite (β-FeOOH) nanorods. It is found that the annealing temperature determines the phase composition of the products, the crystal structure/size dictates the magnetic properties whereas the final nanorod morphology is determined by the starting material. Annealing of β-FeOOH at ~300 °C resulted in the formation of hollow QUAIPH nanorods. The synthesized material shows low-cytotoxicity, superparamagnetism and good transverse relaxivity, which is rarely reported for QUAIPH. The QUAIPH nanorods started to transform to porous hematite nanostructures at ~350 °C and phase transformation was completed at 600 °C. During the annealing, the crystal structure changed from monoclinic (akaganeite) to quasi-amorphous and rhombohedral (hematite). Unusually, the crystallite size first decreased (akaganeite → QUAIPH) and then increased (QUAIPH → hematite) during annealing whereas the nanorods retained particle shape. The magnetic properties of the samples changed from antiferromagnetic (akaganeite) to superparamagnetic with blocking temperature TB = 84 K (QUAIPH) and finally to weak-ferromagnetic with the Morin transition at TM = 244 K and high coercivity HC = 1652 Oe (hematite). The low-cytotoxicity and MRI relaxivity (r2 = 5.80 mM?1 s?1 (akaganeite), r2 = 4.31 mM?1 s?1 (QUAIPH) and r2 = 5.17 mM?1 s?1 (hematite)) reveal potential for biomedical applications. 相似文献
